Wedding Cars

We're probably going to go with a Chrysler 300 for the wedding car. It's one of the cheaper (yet still stupidly over expensive) options. I looked into a Rolls Royce Phantom but can't justify the cost as it's not sticking around all day.

The Chrysler we're looking into comes in a package with a matching stretch which seats 8. It'll be an easy way to get 3 bridesmaids, my mum, my sister's boyfriend and possibly the make-up artist to the venue whilst my dad and I can go in the saloon. We have an appointment to view the saloon on Tuesday 27th. I have to go and check I can get a dress in the back. I'm sure I'll be able to as they hire it out exclusively for weddings.

Best foot forward

Finding flat wedding shoes might be an issue. Simon and I are the same height (he's actually a little shorter) and I don't want to tower above him. I'm flitting between ballet pumps and flat sandals. Unfortunately it's quite hard to find sandals that aren't gladiator or too informal flip flop wise. I'm not opposed to wearing flip flops as I've seen some really pretty ones. I just wonder if they'll stay on my feet.

I'm quite fond of these as they're something additional to the basic ballet pump. It says they're ivory but they look distinctly creamy to me. £42.99, too. Expensive.

Found at Perdita's Wedding Shoes.

Peas in a Pod

These ceramic salt and pepper shakers are so cute and I'd love them for favours. Sadly, they're too expensive.
However, I've come across a candle version on Ebay which are at a lower price and equally as quaint.

Hang on a mo!

I've just checked the Cox & Cox (expensive) ribbon again and it's £14 for 20m. NOT 2M! Even with discounts applied to the 'cheaper ribbon' it would work out more expensive than the Cox & Cox one.

Cheaper ribbon - £21 as it's £1.05 per m when ordering 20m or more!
Cox & Cox ribbon - £14 for 20m so it works out at 70p per m!

My sister managed to find some personalised ribbon that's so much cheaper than the one I posted before. It's a shame that they have limited fonts and don't have one that matches the more expensive ribbon.

Still, it's £1.40 a metre (plus discounts for bulk) compared to £14 for 2m for the Cox & Cox one.
