Not too bad for a first attempt. Probably won't be using it for my own wedding though because I'm not sure it goes with the signs my sister made me. To the back of the cupboard it goes!

And it was written...
First attempt at handpainting a wooden sign.
This type of sign seems to be really popular at the moment. I kept thinking, "I could probably do that myself". So I did. I grabbed a piece of wood laying around in the garden, whitewashed it and handpainted the letters with a teeny tiny brush and some black paint. Then I went over it all with some fine sandpaper (a little more aggressively on the edges) and 'voila'!

Save the Dates v.2.0
I finally got around to sorting our replacement Save the Dates. I came away from the original styles completely as I felt that a new venue needed a new design. What do you think?
Still the same magnet casings from Ebay as before but this time utilising my love for vintage looking birds and exploring some free fonts.
